Payment Terms

Upon credit approval, Assembly Technologies terms are Net 30 days unless agreed upon prior to Purchase Order.  If customers financial condition deteriorates and/or other events occur that causes liquidity issues, ATI can suspend shipments, credit privileges and other services.  An ATI team member will continue to notify customer of late payments. However, all past due invoices will be charged an interest rate of 1.2% per month or 15% annually.

Warranty

Assembly Technologies provides a one-year warranty against any non-conforming product due to workmanship. Warranty is only valid if the root cause has been deemed a workmanship issue. Assembly Technologies, Inc. will not be responsible for labor charges, loss, or consequential damage of any kind or character caused by defective parts or for charges incurred in the replacement or repair of defective parts by Purchaser. Warranty is void and ATI will not be liable for any problem with the product if the product has been customized or any changes have been made beyond the Original Product Specification by the customer. 

Returns

Assembly Technologies will not accept any returns without a completed and approved RMA request form prior to return shipment.  The product must be properly packed and labeled before returning to Assembly Technologies.

IPC Standards

All circuit boards are made to current IPC-610-A class 2 standards unless specified by customer.  For customers with IPC-A 610 Class 3, the requirements must be properly defined in specifications.  

Ordering

Assembly Technologies is a turnkey contract manufacturer.  In order for ATI to provide an accurate cost estimate, the customer must provide the following:

  • Complete manufacturing package
    • BOM with reference designators, manufacturer part numbers, quantity, description.
    • Gerbers data
    • CAD data
  • If a change to the manufacturing package as been made the price will be revised to reflect the latest manufacturing data.
  • Quote will be valid for 30 days from the date of submission.
  • Material procurement will begin once manufacturing package and EQ’s have been addressed.
  • If materials are to be consigned, ATI requires a 2.5% overage on materials.

 

Inventory Management

  • Assembly technologies understand the importance lean inventory practices in todays supply chain. ATI is willing to hold inventory up to one year if agreed upon prior to Purchase order. A material management fee will be applied to the order and one-year release schedule must be defined prior to PO.  Any changes in release schedule is subject to a fee.  ATI will hold inventory up to one year. Following one year, all inventory will be shipped and invoiced to customer.

Purchase order cancellation

  • In the case where an order requires cancellation, the customer is responsible for all NCNR (Non-cancelable, non-returnable) materials. In addition, the customer will be charged, a restocking fee and any overhead labor that has been incurred during the quoting and purchasing process.

First Articles and PPAP

  • ATI will perform First article builds and PPAP for an additional charge determined prior to build based on estimates provided by customer. If estimated differ from actual times, price will be adjusted accordingly.

Delivery times and Expedited manufacturing

  • During the quoting process Assembly Technologies determines delivery times based on:
    1. Standard component lead times
    2. Complexity of build
    3. Order volume
  • Standard lead times range between 5-8 weeks.
  • If expediated manufacturing is required, Assembly technologies will charge an additional fee for overtime and any costs associated with expediting material as in the case with custom parts such as PCBs.
  • Important note: any changes to delivery dates made by customer is subject to an additional charge if within 30 days of delivery date.
  • Expedite turns can be subject to change due to component availability and/or engineering related delays. If determined delays are caused by customer, ATI refuses the right refund any expedite costs.
